Nine Months

Hank is now nine months and to celebrate we went to a doctors appointment and found out all of his stats. He is looking good and 98% for height. He weighs 21 lbs and my right bicep shows it. I wore a three quarters length shirt and it fit on the left side but was tight on the right. Guess I better stop favoring one side. Eric, my brother in law came to stay the weekend since Josie and the kids went to Santa Margarita for a few weeks. Both Eric and Kc had dentistry/chiropractic seminars on Friday.  Hank and I had a Blood Drive to help run at our ward building. People from all over the area came and donated and Hank helped serve them crackers, sugar and water bottles. We also went out to Zachary's Pizza to have Eric compare the deep dish to real authentic Chicago pizza. Hank loves his uncle Eric who I couldn't believe offered to babysit on Saturday night while Kc and I went to see Cowboys and Aliens. Kc loves all Alien movies- me not so much, but this one had Harrison Ford, and Daniel Craig in it. Thanks Eric. If only I took more pictures of the weekend, but here are some of Hank from last week.

 Welcoming KC home

Playing with a ball and a door jam

 Post bath time hair

Hank wants to play with the processor bowl the whole time I feed him so it is his reward after eating

If only he would feed himself

 Reading books

 Peek a boo

Taking a nap and playing after the blood drive

 Yay, I'm nine months

 And have 4 teeth

Hank should we have a haircut?

 Crying just thinking about it

 Rocking Horses at modern store

Hank is standing up and kneeling a lot. He likes to growl and eat paper still. He imitates me a little bit like this morning I was doing yoga and he did the upward dog pose next to me. I can tell that he is getting better at remembering things too. He has always had to hold a toy while I changing his diaper and put on his clothes. Before I would have to take the toy out of his right hand and let him hold onto it with the left. But now as soon as I put his head through a shirt he sticks out his arm and then moves the toy on his own for me to put his other arm in. This is huge progress!

Fourth of July in Monterey

Josie, Eric, Ethan and Cohen have finally relocated to Pacific Grove right in time for a get together for the 4th. What is great is how close they moved to us in the Bay Area. Family close by again, hooray.

Playing at Mom and Dad's hotel before we went for a swim. Mom is watching Wimbeldon while playing with Hank

Mom made delicious cupcakes and drove them up from LA, very festive

Hank did not like how cold the water was and was furious when I left him alone in his floaty

So cold he went to the hot tub on his own

Cohen loved the jets and warm water too

This was Hank's first time in a real pool/jacuzzi. I think he loved it.

 Sunset down past Esplanade Park
Martha and Shane pulled in at the perfect time from LA traffic

 Eric and Ethan

Hank bonding with Shane he was confused thinking Shane was KC while we were waiting for him to meet up with us the day later

Happy Birthday Mom, we always end up getting her clothes cause she seems to have everything else. And she looks good in everything.

Washing Hank in the kitchen, Josie's Kitchen has two sinks luckily

In the center of the action while sitting in the tub, nothing better in Hank's book
