Nine Months

Hank is now nine months and to celebrate we went to a doctors appointment and found out all of his stats. He is looking good and 98% for height. He weighs 21 lbs and my right bicep shows it. I wore a three quarters length shirt and it fit on the left side but was tight on the right. Guess I better stop favoring one side. Eric, my brother in law came to stay the weekend since Josie and the kids went to Santa Margarita for a few weeks. Both Eric and Kc had dentistry/chiropractic seminars on Friday.  Hank and I had a Blood Drive to help run at our ward building. People from all over the area came and donated and Hank helped serve them crackers, sugar and water bottles. We also went out to Zachary's Pizza to have Eric compare the deep dish to real authentic Chicago pizza. Hank loves his uncle Eric who I couldn't believe offered to babysit on Saturday night while Kc and I went to see Cowboys and Aliens. Kc loves all Alien movies- me not so much, but this one had Harrison Ford, and Daniel Craig in it. Thanks Eric. If only I took more pictures of the weekend, but here are some of Hank from last week.

 Hank eating my headphones

 Welcoming KC home

Playing with a ball and a door jam

 Post bath time hair

Hank wants to play with the processor bowl the whole time I feed him so it is his reward after eating

If only he would feed himself

 Reading books

 Peek a boo

Taking a nap and playing after the blood drive

 Yay, I'm nine months

 And have 4 teeth

 Baseball outfit

Hank should we have a haircut?

 Crying just thinking about it

 Eating at Zachary's

 Rocking Horses at modern store

Hank is standing up and kneeling a lot. He likes to growl and eat paper still. He imitates me a little bit like this morning I was doing yoga and he did the upward dog pose next to me. I can tell that he is getting better at remembering things too. He has always had to hold a toy while I changing his diaper and put on his clothes. Before I would have to take the toy out of his right hand and let him hold onto it with the left. But now as soon as I put his head through a shirt he sticks out his arm and then moves the toy on his own for me to put his other arm in. This is huge progress!

Haha thanks Meka. I can't wait til you get here. Martha, I think all the time I spent with Eric at IKEA he decided he wanted to do me a service project. But really he is just baby crazy.

I love, love the suspenders. And I'm curious, did Eric think that Zachary's compared to legit Chicago pizza?

He thought it was pretty authentic. There are still at least two restaurants in Chicago he likes better but rated it third. So that is pretty good. We went to the one in San Ramon for space, but I think the one in Berkeley tastes better.

his hair is so unique & just creating the most priceless baby pictures ever! He's a strong boy, for sure - all that kneeling up & stuff

I seriously love him and his hair! Where do the curls come from?

Well I know that his "tons of hair" comes from me and my dad. But his curls comes from Kc and Me both. Mine is wavy and honestly his looks a lot like my grandpa Christensen.
