Third Time is a Charm
This was a picture that Molly drew for me because this weekend was the last weekend that I had to sit through my lecture and lab from 8:30am to 6pm and it feels so good to be done with. My final is on Wednesday afternoon and I'm also going to finish up my BYU Independent Study classes once and for all this week. With all the free time I'm going to have now Molly's pushing me to go get a part time job at Blockbuster or something so that we can get free movies or at 24 hour fitness so that I can get real buff...or maybe I could go down and work for Zerorez in San Jose or even sell cotton candy at the Warriors games or something. All I know is that if I had to sit through another one of Dr. Mossman's lectures I might have gone crazy and driven the Jeep right into the bay on the way home. I now know way too much about Organic Chemistry for my own good and have paid the price for not concentrating on all the mechanisms, deprotonations, and reactions the first...and second time around...and I didn't just squeek by this time...I got an A!

Field Trip for you
I woke up on Saturday at 7am while Kc was getting ready to go to OChem class and was pretty glad I could go back to sleep. But Kc threw me my cell phone and Anne had texted me to see if I wanted to go with them to Gold country. Why not? So I hopped on the BART and met up with the Packers to start driving. We drove towards Sacramento and stopped off at UCDavis, which besides having a sweet recreation building, rock climbing wall and a compost/worm exhibit was pretty dull? After driving Mike needed a bathroom break pretty bad, so we drove into a construction site and while he was using the portopotty I tried to roll him off and Anne was ready to take an embarrassing picture as he came out. Mike knowing Anne was one step ahead.
After UCDavis we drove to Sacramento to go check out the sights and meet up with John Garlock for breakfast. We ate delicious crepes and omelettes, and then drove around the city to see the capitol building and Arnold's stomping grounds.

After Sacramento, we drove to Placerville and Sutton Creek to check0out "Gold Country" which is where Gold was discovered and started the gold rush. We missed some of the tours or visitor centers because it was another 50 miles north but we did hit antique central which Anne was stoked about.
