I bet you can't hit me with a quarter
The other weekend we rode the Alameda ferry to a Giants game. Which is really fun because it drops you off right behind the stadium. We met up with Joel, and his cousin and son who he lives with in Redwood City. It was the first time that Kc and I have gone to AT&T park and it was really fun except for the game we watched. The Giants were playing the Padres and there was not too much action. But after the 7th inning we went on a walk around the stadium which was pretty cool. Behind the outfield there is a deck that you can look over and see the water and we found a guy walking around with a sign that said "I bet you can't hit me with a quarter." All I can say is that it definitely worked, cause we tried. It looks like we were dressed for winter in May. It is a pretty chilly stadium.
top whodis reunite
It has been a while since we have posted, but here are a few posts of what we have been doing lately. Over Memorial weekend we had a reunion with 3 couples that we love. We hung out with Jenna and Tyrel Jensen, Jason and Amy Storrs and Kim and Trent Sorensen with their little baby Aiden. We had a lot of fun watching movies, barbecuing hanging out and playing guitar hero. We are going to have to make a habit of this.

Make-up time
So Tuesday of this week I went to the Dentist, probably the first time in 2 years. It is really embarrassing, it might have even been longer, but of course they found 2 cavities. So today I just got back from getting two fillings. I am starving but I can't eat or drink cause I would probably drool all over my keyboard at work. My mouth feels huge and when I try to swallow with my lips closed my top lip stays straight but the bottom one pushes all the way to the left of my face. This is awkward, and I have a meeting with my project manager for Diamondbacks in 15 minutes. I honestly hate everything about going to the dentist. Sorry Eric, (my brother-in-law that just graduated from Marquette Dental School) but I have figured out some tips so that when you have your own office you won't have patients that hate coming.
1st: Get some of those cool tv's in the ceiling so you don't have to look at terrible stock photography posters of people in your target age market of 55-75 years old.
2nd: Speak English around your patient during the entire visit, especially when you are diagnosing if they have cavities or not. I was so lost and worried the whole time they were looking at my x-rays. I thought I had like 6 cavities the way they were speaking in Farsi.
3rd: Train your dental hygienist to not jab your gums with the long hard plastic suction tube. And be careful with the water gun, some people have to go back to work after their visit. I left the office with a wet shirt, composite resin on my hand, and very chapped lips.
Now I remember why I let myself not go for 2 years. Other than not having insurance.

Oh Kc!
Today at work I was so excited to see stuff on the free giveaway table. I searched through it and found a mini first-aid kit, smelly bath salts that I passed on, a piece of rubber that helps you open bottles, and most importantly a plastic bag with golf tees and a coupon for 2 for 1 greens fees to an east bay golf course(Tilden Park). I return home and while Kc is still out working I send him a text to tell him I have a surprise gift for him (meaning us). This is how he responded.
M: close your eyes (while putting the present in front of his face.)
Kc: Sweet!! A golf pass, I need to go.
then I cook dinner and in the middle of eating
Kc: I think Joel is really going to enjoy Tilden Park.
M: (While slapping Kc) I am the one that is going with you for the 2 for 1 you dummy!
Men! Really don't think sometimes.

Laughing to myself
Today I went to the gym before work and there were some interesting characters. I was looking down while working my triceps and this older man probably 65 walks by and is wearing a sweaty shirt that says "You looked HOTTER on myspace!" I started laughing really hard and had to leave. Then as I drove to work I was in the fast lane and wondering why it wasn't moving. The car ahead of me was swerving a bit and going probably 51 mph. I get out of the lane and pass the little gray toyota tercel and see this petite asian man probably late 40's singing and conducting a fake symphony in his car. I thought it was so weird I kept looking back in my rear view mirror to see if he was still doing it. His performance lasted no joke for 4 whole minutes.

Are you kidding me? Is this Arizona?
This week it has been delightfully HOT! A little harder to walk to work and sleep on the 3rd floor of a non air-conditioned apartment but otherwise pretty awesome. During the past three days it has reached the 100s and I have learned a few tings that are a must and a bust:bust:
cooking steaks in your oven & thus making your apt. feel like the inside of a barbeque
wearing 2 too many layers around for modesty sake
lying awake sweating
must:
snickers ice cream bars
fudgesicles
fruity big sticks
cold showers
hanging out at work a little bit longer in the AC
