Kc's birthday is right around the corner and that only means one thing, Opening day for the MLB. We have made it a tradition to go to Opening night for the past 4 years while living in the Bay Area. I only realized this by taking an inventory of the magnets on the side of my fridge. Except for the BYU Men's Voleyball schedule from 2006, I have every one of the A's schedules since 2008. The Oakland A's sure are kind to keep the Mariners in their first series slot for the AL West lineup. This works out perfectly for a birthday present to Kc. This year was additionally special since it was Hank's first baseball game...of many. Especially if Hank becomes a starting pitcher for BYU one day, but that is just one of the wishes that Kc will be picturing when blowing out the candles tomorrow. Happy Birthday KC!! You are the best husband, dad and fan I know. Sitting among hundreds of A's fans isn't easy while cheering for the M's but you got to rub it in their faces that night.

Funny story, we were driving to the game and while putting on a little make-up I turn to Kc and say wow I really look like a tomboy today. He laughed and said, "I was going to say something to you when you said, "I am going to wear my Men's Large Matsumoto Shaved Ice shirt," (from Hawaii ) but I didn't." Darn Kc he is to nice. I did look like a tomboy, wearing a men's shirt and knee length shorts and my black and yellow Nikes. Oh well that's how I do it. Hank and I left at the 7th inning since it started to get really cold but Kc held out for the win in shorts and a t-shirt.

you'll have him totally trained and relatively easy to manage at games since you are taking him so little - it's the way to do it.
