Seattle times

This last week we flew up to Seattle to hangout with Kc's family and show my sister Josie and her husband Eric around. Josie and Eric had never been and wanted Kc to be their tour guide. I am not sure what they thought of our tour guide skills, but we had a lot of fun. Some of the highlights were:
-Hanging out with Kc's family before his younger brother Mark left for the Army.
-A mandatory Mariners game where during their series with the Yankees they won 2 of the 3 games and we managed to go on the night they lost. Still fun though. Other than watching the game we saw a dance off between Superman and Batman that was pretty hilarious, I think it lasted 5 minutes. (Which is a long time for solo spotlight)

-Eating at Ivar's, shopping at Pike Place, going to the top of the space needle, and visiting Ye Old Curiosity Shop
Seattle made Josie cold as ice

Eric just mild

But Kc on the other hand...

First Starbucks ever. Not like the Mecca for me, but for some of my co-workers- they would worship this place.

Views from the Space Needle, Mt. Rainier in the background

-Visiting one of my best friends, Meka, at her new Seattle apartment (thanks for the pic Meeks)

-Fishing in the Snoqualmie River with four people in a canoe. Eric and I were beginners but Kc and his Dad were showing us how it was done. We were very subtle with our movements hoping not to tip.

Knee deep in water, we were all fishing without waders because the water wasn't too cold.

Kc really looks like a tour guide in this picture

-We also went on a housing search and dental quest with Josie and Eric, tried to catch a bear, and played with little kittens.

you always have been good luck for the Yankees! I hope you plan on watching them during the playoffs. That fishing looked awesome.

We used some of the creepy fish to lure the bear. HE came but we didn't get to shoot him while we were there.

That creepy bear stripped all our grapes, Braeburn apples, and Honey Crisps, which was the ultimate insult. They just know when things get ripe. Then...left 3 big poops full of fruits in our garden. But because of those poops we now believe there is not 1 bear, but 2!! The fish are doing there job, Steve just needs to sleep out more...
Your Seattle pics are beautiful. With blue sky and all it looks deceptively gorgeous up here, doesn't it? We loved having you!!
