This weekend was another great adventure in the East Bay. On Friday night we got a bunch of tickets with the posse to go watch the battle for last place in the AL West between the Mariners and the A's. Even though the game didn't mean anything at all it was still a ton of fun to get a big group together. The real reason we went was because it was Mormon night and Pyro night all in one! So before the game we headed over to the Schnitz to enjoy some fine dining.
Then the show started and I must say was one of the most entertaining displays of fireworks I've ever seen in person. I love fireworks and this was a really good show. We took a little video of the finale and I tried to load it on here but couldn't figure it out. Maybe another time.
So the next day we woke up early and headed over to the Berkeley Tennis Club courtesy of Diablo Magazine (they were one of the sponsors of the event) for a celebrity/ProAm tournament. Lindsay Davenport was the main attraction and we watched her play some mixed doubles matches. It was a lot of fun and we even snuck into the players/families tent for some free lunch. We got some funny looks but it was worth it.

Later that night we went to this place on Park St. that had caught Molly's eye. It's a nice Chinese place that's on the second floor of one of the buildings right on Park. They gave us a nice view of the intersection.
This was our appetizer. It was a mix of a bunch of wantons, meat, pot stickers and other stuff that even came with it's own little flame to grill the food. This is Molly heating up the beef.

I love that you guys snuck into the tent to get free lunch, gutsy! I also love KC's hair and facial hair. Jason insists on keeping a goatee just because he can. KC, hope you were cheering for the Mariners.
What is with everyone having facial hair? Jason and now KC. KC you look really good though, I seriously like it. Who picked out your shirt? You or Molly. New posts are on their way. Sorry it has been a boring month. Still no hair.
