workin for the weekend
I love living in or near a big city. Whether it has been LA, NYC, Seattle or San Fran, I just like knowing it is close and that there are exciting things going on if you have time and money to go enjoy them. But this weekend Kc and I enjoyed the big city of Oakland. We thought we deserved to go out since we have been indoors for two weeks recovering from sicknesses. Also I finished my first 7 days at my new work. Friday we checked out the 66th Street Fair, cause randomnly it showed up on the side of the 880 one day. We had to check out the Super Slide, and a few money pit games.

Then Saturday we met up with Joel Monson, a friend of ours who grew up with Kc in Sammamish, WA. We drove over to the Lake Chabot (sha-bo) Golf course. I went along to just walk the course and it was pretty fun. I have never been to a golf course where you drive through the fairway in your car to get to the pro shop. Yeah before you tee up you check where you are aiming, your grip, and if a car is passing. Then the 18th hole is a 680 yard par 6 that drops down a hill. It was pretty crazy with sweet views of Oakland.

fun weekend! i'm so glad kc was able to make it out of the house! good job making it through one week, molls!
Great day. The sun took it out of me. I was spent after I got home. Gheorghe Muresan is correct Ken. I have no idea what happened to him but he didn't miss getting the giant role in Princess Bride by much. Andre was better anyways. Anybody want a peanut?
Fun weekend!! Wait for me. Everything looks so green and beautiful. I want to go on that slide. I love those.
When you say that fair is off the 880 you mean it, I didn't know they had fairs so close to the freeway and I am so glad to know that you and KC went.
yes basically on the 880
