I am taking advantage of Hank taking a nap to post a few pictures I took this morning. Hank woke up at 6:45am so we had plenty of time to prepare some stuff for Kc before he woke up. It's tradition to make Valentine's breakfast for Kc before he drives off to Life West for the day. Funny to think this is the last year he will be running off to school.

iPhone post
It is sometimes way easier to take pictures with your phone then getting the big one out. Also Hank changes his mood fast so you better be ready to catch a good smile. He is getting ready for valentines.

Take me out Tuesday
Yesterday getting out of the house and driving into the city was awesome. Kc left school early and we took Hank to see a few museums. He gave each one a thumbs up or thumbs down.
We started at the YBCA (Yerba Buena Center for the Arts) and found some sweet stuff mixed with some disturbing video installations. One room had a circle of tvs all looping audiences clapping. Like Ricky Lake audience members clapping, over and over. But the best thing there was a collection of newspaper and found objects made out of organza with hand crocheted work on top. Also a charcoal drawing on wood panels.
Then we headed to the SFMOMA where a lot of the museum was under construction, but the rooftop garden and people watching was pretty fun. The main exhibit was about wine which had cool displays, if it were about Dr. Pepper Kc would have liked it even more.
After the MOMA we stopped by The Sentinel a sandwich shop that I had heard of when I worked downtown. It is only open for lunch and serves different menus daily. I thought it was delicious, not sure why Kc was most interested in the pickle and Werthers Original they give as sides.
Next we drove over to the Legion of Honor where Hank enjoyed me changing his diaper on the front steps. This museum was a lot larger than I thought, the paintings, frames, ceramics and outlet where we charged our dead camera were all fun to see.
So many picture, but like my sister Anne I use this Blog as a journal. I will have to hit the De Young and the Conservatory of Flowers next month on the free Tuesday. Hank hardly fusses and is an all around better baby when he is outdoors.

Wood panel charcoal drawing. Super detailed and pretty sweet.
I may have edited this image a little. The thing about naming your son Hank is the word is all around you. It reminds me of a found typography exercise we did in Graphic Design class. This is also part of the organza/embroidery collection.

The fog was pretty thick yesterday. These pics were taken next to the Legion of Honor. I was pretty impressed KC didn't sneak off to the golf course that surrounded the museum.

3 months old
Hank is 3 months and counting. Here are a few things that are going on with this guy.
- wants to get off his back every chance he can
- is starting to teethe and freaks out every few hours
- puts anything in his mouth he can
- swats me in the nose when I feed him

This outfit makes him look like the baby from Ghostbusters
Hank chewing on everything
I am going to celebrate by going to some free San Fran museums tomorrow. Hopefully Hank doesn't have a tooth bugging him in the silent galleries.

It's the 0-11
Hank and I do a lot of the same things daily, but here are a few pictures of him at almost 3 months old.
Hank's range of emotions.
Nuzzeling his blanket.
On MLK Monday we went down to Half Moon Bay, it started out clear and then a second later there was heavy fog and really strong winds.

Here is a video of Hank rolling over, just ignore my annoying voice.

Christmas time
After Hank's blessing we were counting down the days until Christmas Break to relax and have fun. Before leaving for Seattle we went to Alameda for our yearly stroll down Thompson Lane where we saw awesome Christmas lights from our car in the rain.
We made it up to Washington just in time to cut down a Christmas tree, see a rainbow, go to our cousin's wedding reception and hangout with family. I ate way too much and so did Hank, but I did go the YMCA once. First time working out since Hank's birthday!! Woohoo.
We came home after New Years and sadly had to get Hank vaccinated. He has been a different boy ever since. Has this happened to anyone else? He won't let me set him down and walk away without screaming. Hopefully he returns to normal soon.
