iPod, check MacBook, check ARCHIPOD- still need
Cause who doesn't need a work office that looks like this? It even has a hatch door and a Life Aquatic-like port hole window. I think I would get a lot of work done in this Archipod, but I might have to paint the inside so I didn't feel like I was in a white bubble. I love that name. archipod...archipod...archipod.

Random Conversation with a stranger
I was minding my own business walking from the San Francisco Soup Co. to my office when a disturbed frappuccino drinker said hello to me. She was probably around 19 years old and she said her name was Tiara.
Tiara: Hey, how is your day?
Me: Good, how are you?
Tiara: CAN YOU BELIEVE JESSICA SIMPSON, She is crazy?
Me: What, tell me about it?
Tiara: She like never brushes her teeth, that is disgusting. She wipes her teeth with her sweater instead of brushing her teeth. Can you believe that?
Me: I heard something about that- I cannot go that long myself.
Tiara: There is no excuse for poor hygiene, and she is turning 30, it's disgusting.
Me: Disgusting that she is turning 30?
Tiara: No, that she is that old and doesn't brush her teeth. Don't you think she is crazy?
Me: Yeah I do, you have convinced me, well I got to go back to work. Thanks for the chat!
Oakland City Center is filled with some pretty sweet people.

Oakland talent
This guy rules. I have loved his poster designs since I started college and now I live 10 minutes from him. It is hard not to knock on his door on the way to the temple, but I continue to respect him from afar. Chronicle Books has a new book out on Jason, which is typical because they always snag the best book deals, but Chronicle is missing out from not hiring me or my twin sister back in the day.

Big News
After years of cracking my knuckles, playing sports, yardwork, and cutting off half the tip of my left pointer finger I never thought I would be asked to be a hand model. Maybe it is because I am of the pro-bono hand model kind but still I was shocked to be asked. The photo-shoot for Clorox is tomorrow, but I am going to use it to my advantage tonight. Sorry Kc no dishes for me tonight.

East Bay Birthday
March has come and gone but here are a few things we did to celebrate birthdays. Kc took me to a vivarium in Berkeley that I think he was a little more excited about than I was. We saw turtles, snakes and reptiles.
We explored beautiful Lake Chabot and were harassed by tons of dogs
Martha came to town and we celebrated a lot in the city with Anne, Lucy and Mike, then we went to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz because I have been dying to go there.
The Mystery Spot was cool, a little trippy- and KC will always be skeptical. But we had fun. Then we went to the coast to check out the Kayak surfers and walk around. Thanks Marth for coming!

Molly has a new crush
So the other day Molly and I headed down to San Jose to watch the first round play of the SAP Open. It's a small tennis tournament held in the bay area every year and this was part of our Valentines day celebration. We've been playing a lot of tennis lately so this was a lot of fun to go see.
HP Pavilion is a pretty cool place. They had huge tennis balls set up right when you walk in but there was something else....
A huge THING of Andy Roddick on the stairs. That's right...Molly is sitting on his shoulder giving him a kiss. Roddick better watch out.

Taking Northern California by sea
Wow, I have really taken a sabbatical from blogging. I will start in January and work up til present day.
The third week in January we went with Kc's classmates on a San Francisco dinner cruise. There school has a few activities a year and this was a good one. It was really fun to eat and float under the Bay Bridge at the same time. We also got to hang out with some friends we don't get to see very often, the Babcocks and the Hatchs.

Here is our little harbor boat, El Capitain
We thought we were riding on the Commodore
Eating dinner
Posing in the cold
Do you think CA is growing on Kc yet?
Then the last week in January my friend Joanna invited me to go surfing. My first surfing trip in Northern California ever and my first surfing trip since before college. I just need some of my own equipment to get going more. It wasn't as easy as Huntington or Newport but it was a lot of fun. She said, "If you can surf in Northern CA, you can surf anywhere."
She made me do that hand motion, haha
All suited up, waiting for bigger set
Gorgeous, and rocky-not so nice for the girl with no booties.
Took a few hours to regain feeling in my feet
