The Grind and the Reward
I have become a bike commuter, it has been two weeks of wearing York Prep shorts and a family reunion shirt on the BART, and changing when I get to work. When I ride in my work clothes I sweat right through my outfit. Everyday is an adventure and risk never knowing if there will be enough room for me on the train and how many people will yell at me and push my bike out the closing doors. But there is always the weekend to look forward too. When I ride the BART without a bike and with Kc somewhere interesting. This weekend we went to the AVP Tour and watched the Gold Medal Olympians compete on Pier 30 in San Francisco. It was pretty fun to watch in the middle of the city with the Bay Bridge behind us. I was so excited to be there and went nuts when I saw Misty May and Keri Walsh- Kc thought I was a crazed fan. We also got to see the "Professor" and the "Beijing Beast" is what they called Daulhausser and Rogers.
My camera sadly ran out of battery right as they started playing, but I managed to get a few pictures.

Labor Day Weekend
On Labor Day we got out to play some tennis and some golf. Molly and I tried to put up a fight against her parents but were crushed by their experience on the court. It was a good exercise though.
On Saturday night we headed over to the Angels game courtesy of the Ainsworth's. Thanks to them we got to sit 5 rows right behind the home dugout and it was one of the best games I've seen in a long time...I still don't like the Angels (Go Mariners!...maybe next year) but it was a great game to watch. Robbed home runs, suicide squeezes, plays at the plate, it was a beauty.
After all that we did over the weekend, Molly was very happy that we got to the beaches down in Southern California this weekend. It was nice to just relax.

Your face is funny
For a happy anniversary activity on Monday instead of going out to a fancy restaurant we went to a place called iFly and then to In 'n' Out for dinner! It was a lot of fun, but we wished we had been allowed to "fly" for longer. Basically what you do is you get a quick training class, you get suited up and then get thrown in a wind tunnel with up to 500mph winds. We started with the beginning level floating and turning, but we think if we go back again we will be doing flips and tricks soon.
Get ready to laugh at my face.
This one I couldn't quite get the watermark off. You can see me waiting to go next in the doorway.
Video to come of skydivers who do this to practice technique.
They wouldn't let us take pictures while waiting in the cage, and we didn't have anyone there to take pictures while we were doing it so these are all courtesy of ifly.

Back in Business, edited...final
Our computer is back in order and I am so excited. This past week my parents came on Saturday for a drive thru visit and brought some favorite pieces of my Grandpa Eddingtons. We were lucky enough to add this credenza and my mom's sculpture of eagrets(birds) to our assemblage of free furniture. Thanks mom and dad for driving all over CA, UT and MN!
This weekend Martha came to visit Anne, Mike, Kc and I and it was SUPER SUPER BIEN.
Lucky enough Martha and my roommate Tracy, her husband Joe and baby Milo were here this weekend too. Tracy loves Mama's breakfast in San Fran, as do I so we met up there to eat delicious eggs and french toast. Later that night Kc, Mike and Brad went to the Packers/49ers game and the girls went to Haight Ashbury, and relaxed after a long walk around Anne's apartment.

Technical difficulty
I have had my trusty old powerbook from 2003 to 2008. It served Martha and I very well. All the way through graphic design school, internships, multiple wedding announcements, ward directories, freelance projects, creating resumes for professional jobs...etc. It has even seen embarrassing times when I made a BYU Graphic Design slide show for our graduating Christmas Party and the iDVD zoom setting narrowed in on my professor Adrian's crotch. Yeah if you knew Adrian it would be 1000 times more embarrassing than it sounds. But it is being temporarily fixed to install a new hard drive. I can't remember the last time I didn't work or use a computer everyday. So I need to get it fixed- fast!
