2 years old and Halloween

October is a fun month, we went to Half Moon Bay to find the perfect pumpkin and then drove up to San Fran to see the Blue Angels.

Palace of Fine Arts

Then when Julie came we went to a pumpkin patch in Livermore which is a tradition. The Beck's also had a Halloween party where Hank and I showed up as a cow and the moon. Kc was out of town. We won Most Original costume.

On Hank's birthday he asked for waffles, he went through a phase where he asked for them daily. I tried to only do it once every other week. Then when KC got back from work we went to Chucky Cheese and played games.

For the actual Halloween night we went to Alameda of course and saw awesome decorations and the Packers.

One of the best decorated homes has a jack-o-lantern face in their windows and then a Charlie Brown theme

Swimming at Strawberry Canyon Pool- the best place to swim in the fall when everything else has closed! Hank would finally go in the pool but was not stoked about going under the water.

Baby Blessings 2012

This year Josie and Anne both had babies 6 days apart, July 4th and July 10th. I am so glad I could live nearby and help out and come to the blessing day. Eric decided to have a BBQ and smoked some meat that was better than any restaurant I have ever been to! Eric and Mike gave great blessings and we had an awesome time with the Packers, Browns and Christensens.

Hanging out in San Leandro

Time to catch-up on the blog. Here are some pictures when Hank had longer, curlier hair. I miss those days. Just hanging out in San Leandro.

Friends and Family

While visiting SLC we had to see my Grandparents, they are the best people I know! My Grandpa was introducing me to all of the staff at the nursing home and taking me on a tour. Hank loved climbing on my Grandma's bed and playing with the birds and fish. He was cleaning Grandpa's shoes and giving Grandma hugs.

The day we got back from UT, we went to KC's bestfriend's wedding, Joel G. Monson. It was a great sealing and couldn't have gone better. So happy for you Joel and Heidi.

We had a busy few weeks, but that is the way we like it. We got to go to Aptos with a few friends over Labor Day and loved every minute. We went to the beach in Santa Cruz and Aptos, and then stopped at the carousel at the Boardwalk where you grab gold rings and try to throw them in a clowns mouth while on the horse. We also went to church where a man in the ward tried to convince Phillip to move there after he bore his testimony.

Park City

After visiting Salt Lake we were lucky to spend a couple of days in Park City with our college friends. Hank was a little stunned by all the new kids around, but he finally adjusted. We had an awesome time at the Alpine Slide, the pool, a little sand volleyball, shopping and a Provo visit.
