Lindsey's Wedding

After our Anniversary a lot of my best friends came up to the Bay Area for our friend Lindsey's wedding. We are so happy for Lindsey and her husband Mike to finally tie the knot. They are so cute and we had a great time partying with you guys and the Irvine crew. We fit a lot into two day and it was so fun to get together with my girl friends I don't get to see enough, Meka, Tracy, Lisa, Kristin and my sister's Martha and Anne. And yes I am wearing the same outfit I wore to my anniversary dinner. I need a new dress cause when I was looking through my closet my choices were a maternity dress, or a dress I bought before I was married that was sleeveless and the rest is church clothes. Here are some pics of the weekend.

Meka and I also took a trip to the Oakland Museum of CA where we ended up having a photoshoot just for fun. Meka works at a museum in Seattle, so she was getting some inspiration. On the way home my car sunroof shattered into little tiny pieces. Every time I go to Oakland near Lake Merritt my windows shatter! Funny I thought the little triangle shaped piece of glass in the Jeep was expensive- nope try the vista sunroof in a Ford Edge. The show went on though, we drove out to the rehearsal dinner and forgot all about it.

The museum had a lot of interactive pieces with backdrops and photo ops

I want this in my house! It even had a 4D scent spray to make you feel like you were there

Fifth Anniversary

It has been five awesome years and boy have we done a lot. I stayed up one night to design a book, and I ended up pulling an all nighter to make a thorough 5 year recap. I first sectioned off all of my photos into years pre-wedding, wedding, 2006-2011. I am so lucky to have married my best friend and am excited to continue to grow together. We have hit a fun and sometimes tricky transition phase where KC is working hard and I entertain Hank and wait for the few hours a day I get to see good ole Kenny. Happy five years "Case" I love you and am so thankful for all your hard work for our fam.

KC planned a sweet dinner for our anniversary and our good friend Whitney came over to babysit. When we got home Hank seemed like he wanted us to leave again, cause he loved Whitney that much. KC picked Slanted Door, a restaurant I have been wanting to try for a while and when we got there they did not disappoint. I loved how they used all Heath Ceramic dishware and had beautiful reclaimed wood tables and interesting art. Nice choice KC lets do it again.

Looking at the picture I kept thinking, the couple that plays together...stays together.
The couple that works out together...stays together. Teaches seminary together, etc, etc.
