Graduation dinner and the Track

Kc's classmates and faculty had a dinner in Oakland to celebrate being finished with classes and clinic. A few days after the dinner we went to Berkeley to the Golden Gate Fields. This was a first, I have never been to a horse race. We had a good time at the track and might have placed one $5 bet. Kc officially checked out of clinic today after giving up all of his patients to other students. Woo Hoo!

Molly: "Kc I am taking a picture," KC: "Uhhh!"

Kc's last day of classes at Life West

This morning after a really long night with Hank, KC had a celebration at school. He was recognized with his class for graduating from clinic and finishing all of his classes. Kc walked up to receive his rose and accept his certificate like he was in the Bachelorette with Hank tagging along. Seems like a long time since we were graduating from Brigham Young, but somehow we are pastier now than when we lived in Provo. Hooray for KC!!! We are ready for vacation after one more week of finals and clinic.

Quick trip down south

Hank and I decided to go visit my family since Kc's school schedule was keeping him busy through the whole week. The weather was a little cool and rainy, which brought clear skies the last few days. We went on walks with Grandma, Grandpa, and Martha plus one. We saw Martha's new apartment, ate texas sheet cake, and hung out with hank's cousins.

Happy Valentines Day.

I am taking advantage of Hank taking a nap to post a few pictures I took this morning. Hank woke up at 6:45am so we had plenty of time to prepare some stuff for Kc before he woke up.  It's tradition to make Valentine's breakfast for Kc before he drives off to Life West for the day. Funny to think this is the last year he will be running off to school.
