Lucky enough Martha and my roommate Tracy, her husband Joe and baby Milo were here this weekend too. Tracy loves Mama's breakfast in San Fran, as do I so we met up there to eat delicious eggs and french toast. Later that night Kc, Mike and Brad went to the Packers/49ers game and the girls went to Haight Ashbury, and relaxed after a long walk around Anne's apartment.

Back in Business, edited...final
Our computer is back in order and I am so excited. This past week my parents came on Saturday for a drive thru visit and brought some favorite pieces of my Grandpa Eddingtons. We were lucky enough to add this credenza and my mom's sculpture of eagrets(birds) to our assemblage of free furniture. Thanks mom and dad for driving all over CA, UT and MN!
This weekend Martha came to visit Anne, Mike, Kc and I and it was SUPER SUPER BIEN.

Technical difficulty
I have had my trusty old powerbook from 2003 to 2008. It served Martha and I very well. All the way through graphic design school, internships, multiple wedding announcements, ward directories, freelance projects, creating resumes for professional jobs...etc. It has even seen embarrassing times when I made a BYU Graphic Design slide show for our graduating Christmas Party and the iDVD zoom setting narrowed in on my professor Adrian's crotch. Yeah if you knew Adrian it would be 1000 times more embarrassing than it sounds. But it is being temporarily fixed to install a new hard drive. I can't remember the last time I didn't work or use a computer everyday. So I need to get it fixed- fast!

New York, New York!
Yesterday I was talking to my parents and we talked about normal stuff, work, school for KC, plans...But then my mom got me so excited when she said I received something in the mail. First of all I never get cool stuff in the mail except for my birthday, but this time it was better than a birthday! My mom said that my high school in New York City was having a huge 40th Anniversary celebration in September. My school doesn't have 5 or 10 year reunions so this could be the only ticket back to NY. But what surprised me was my mom who was really trying to get my dad on board. I hope we go, I am craving New York City!

Also I hope these guys come to the celebration seeing that they have both filmed movies/tv shows at my alma mater.

My Life is 98% Baseball
I haven't put up a post in a while, I believe Kc has written the last 3 or 4. So when I thought about what we have done since last Friday I realized it was 98% baseball related. Which don't get me wrong- there is nothing wrong with that. It is America's favorite pastime. Last Friday after Kc got home from Orkin sales we drove to the Oakland Stadium to watch the summer fireworks show. We were just sitting on a piece of grass outside a corporate office next to the freeway-but it was a top notch fireworks show. Then Kc brought me to the A's/Angels day game on Saturday. Which is always fun, quick and easy to go to. We live one Bart stop away from the stadium. Monday and Tuesday was the All Star break on TV. I also design two baseball magazines from Monday through Friday at work. And for a night out on Thursday we went to Kc's last softball game with his team "Boom Goes the Dynamite". Amazing.
Boom Goes the Dynamite's last game was really fun to watch, the game was pretty close and in the second to last inning they had come back within three runs. Almost upsetting the number 1 team in the league Larm's Vikings. I was pretty proud of them for coming so far from their first blow-out game against last year's number 1 team.

2 down...more to go
This just in...pops got himself bear number two yesterday afternoon. It was on the move to eat up Lucy our little Jack Russel Terrier but dad got to it first. I look forward to some more bear jerky next visit. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
Truckee or Truckout
We spent the week of the 4th of July in Truckee CA just north of Lake Tahoe and we had an amazing time at the Christensen family reunion 2008. Thanks to Emily and Jaren we spent a lot of time on Donner Lake wakesurfing. We looked much better than these people.
If we were hungry we would've stopped in to Molly's Garden Restaurant. The picture was good enough though. It gave us some ideas for future restaurant plans.
On Saturday the 5th we spent the afternoon in Squaw Valley home of the 1960 Olympic games. We took the tram up and there was a sweet pool on top of the mountain that we played in all afternoon. We even had some wildlife watching us in the dirtiest hot tub I've ever seen.
I don't know what game we played but I guess I ended up with the Bronze Metal...Molly won the gold and Martha the silver metal. I was pretty upset as you can tell.

An Ode to Erin Jones
My sister has given birth to her 7th child today and I want to take this opportunity to give all the congradulations that I can! Here's a little poem I found:
The Welcome
The Welcome
Little fingers curl up tight to make a tiny fist,
As fairy lips purse out as if to make a gentle kiss. . .
Eyes, wide as a kitten's, and little button nose,
You look like someone's angel--down to your pudgy toes. . .
Although you are so wrinkled and your face is still so pale,
And the only song you seem to know sounds like a shrilling wail,
When you are here before me, finally, I feel complete.
I've waited so long, sweetheart. . . at last, we finally meet.
